Pest Control:

With summer fast approaching now is the time to be aware of methods of termite and  other pest detection and prevention. As termites and other insect creatures may appear virtually overnight it is extremely important occupants are aware of common attractions for these costly and sometimes dangerous pests

As majority of invaders such as spiders and termites hope to maintain a low profile and remain unnoticed it is worthwhile ensuring all 'weep holes' in  brickwork remains exposed with the floor slab not covered by rockeries & garden beds, also very worthwhile to ensure roof guttering remains clear of debris & leaves which provide shelter for spiders, usually red backs who will from the guttering invade roofs or drop down to ground level and reside under such items as garden furniture and children's toys. Other pests such as wasps, which have a painful sting, will look to reside in mud nests under patio roofs and on outside walls, a quick fix is to spray with a household repellent and hose down the nest from a distance.
